Supply and Demand

Demand has decreased since the interest rate hike, which we know because the number of homes going under contract each month has decreased sharply in the last several months, however, the supply of homes on the market has not increased yet. This means there are still very few homes for prospective buyers to choose from. The low inventory situation continues to put home sellers in the drivers seat when selling. Even homes being sold AS-IS can, in some circumstances, bring a great price.
